The Campaign Raised $265,000 with $230,000 Cash-On-Hand
TUXEDO, NY– Chele Farley for Congress, Inc. announced today that the campaign raised over $260,000 during the first quarter. The amount exceeds its $200,000 fundraising goal. The campaign also has worked hard to keep costs low and was able to finish the quarter with $230,000 in the bank which is almost $100,000 more than her opponent, Sean Patrick Maloney, had at the end of his first fundraising quarter.
“The response I have received since announcing my campaign is a clear sign that people are ready to put a stop to the wave of socialism that is sweeping Washington. The gig is up for Sean Patrick Maloney who tries to tell us he’s a ‘centrist’ here in the Hudson Valley, while he cozies up to the likes of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in Washington,” said Farley. “I am most encouraged by the fact that the campaign received more than 200 donations of $100 or less. We are building a strong grassroots organization that will be critical to winning this race.”
